Just found these data posted by "Q" on roadfly. Maybe of interest to the touring owners.
Do not have any data on total # of produced touring.
6643 Tourings imported to USA
from 1992 - 4/1996. Also, in the USA the Tourings w/mfg date up to 4/96 are considered 1995 models. The 95 e34 continued to be built until the newer 1997 e39 5 series was ready to debut...technically...there is no 1996 e34. Also, USA Tourings only came with automatic transmissions...some industrious owners have transplanted manual trannies into their Tourings...and some very lucky sons-of britches (lol) have had the fortune of getting their hands on AND importing the "HOT" M5 Touring wagon!
