Tire Question for e34

Hello all,
Could you advise me if it would be OK to put 215/65/15 winter tires on my 525i 1989 with OEM 15" wheels?
It calls for either 205/65/15 or 225/60/15 as an option. Would there be any issues by using 215 which is a little taller profile?

Why? The 205 will be a little narrower which would be better for snow. The slightly greater diameter of the 215 will mean that your speedometer and such will be slightly off. Probably not a big deal, but I would go for the 205 unless you are getting a great deal on the 215s.
