I wish that I can change my AFM to MAF system, anyone knows something about it also abit less expensive than ones on the web?!

The writer has a good understanding of the maf conversion for our early motronic cars. The hard part, the part that Split Second, Pro Flow, & Alpha N get paid for, is the signal convertor. This guys simply states that he uses his "Microchip PIC" to convert the signal to the 4.4V max signal that the DME looks for to run the motor decently. There is a bit more too it than that.

Find me one of those "Microchip PIC" thingies & if it does signal conditioning as stated, then we could certainly make it work. After trying a few different resistors, I've found one that seems happy with the intake air temperature sensor. This was after the last dyno session, of course. :(
With one of those Microchip PIC items, you could prolly substitute a potentiometer off the throttle for a mass airflow sensor. This seems to be the gist of the Alpha N setup the e30 m3 boys love.

Try not to get too overwhelmed by the production value of the wiring chart; the details are correct for this harness.
