This point was mentioned in another thread with no clear answer as of yet. However, it deserves its own thread as we know how well designed these cars are!

Are there any specific books, articel or web sites with this info?

Thanks,

An Italian named Ercole Spada was responsible for both the e32 and e34, under supervision and collaboration with Luthe himself. Google this guy's name and you find a bunch of stuff.

By the way, Spada is a giant in the field, also having designed Aston Martin's "DB", Lamborghini's Diablo and Countach, the redesign of the Testarossa, Ford's GT, and a bunch of classic Alfas, Fiat's and the like.

But heck, barry bonds ain't going to hall of fame for his walks record. The home run was the e32/34. The cars that built bmw and created the luxury performance sedan category.

imho, and no offense to all those Aston Martin owners we have lurking these threads.
