I am having some shifting problems with my 535i. When I first purchased the car last month it was running fine, now and only occasionally the tranny shifts hard. No slipping shift at around 1800 to 2000 rpm's and then drive wonderfully. I have taken it to a trans specialist who said he thought it was an engine problem. I took car to a mechanic that was recommended to me by my landlord and he said engine is running fine. I picked car up last night and it is shifting beautifully, without anyone supposedly doing anything to the car.has anyone experienced this problem and if so how did they go about correcting the issue.
