My glove box hangers are broken.. or at least not attached, and any time I try to attach them i get frustrated and give up, opting just to hold the thing up so everything doesn't fall out whenever i need something in there. does anyone know how to re-hang it? diagrams?

any help would be appreciated... thanks

Bookmark the link to the online ETK. Nice explosion drawings always for the backyard hack mechanic (http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=HD23&mospid=47408&prod=19901000&btnr=51_1056&hg=51&fg=30&PHPSESSID=2f576ced29477680ec938848d4d39ea1)

No. 25 is just the circlip. He has to use his own VIN number on the spares catalog to find the correct parts anyway.

Stock BMW-supplied emergency rations? So the uber elite don't go hungry while passing VW's on the autobahn?

is optional for those who carry some nitro or c4 in the glove box. 5r is some c4 suply. This is specifically designed for cars going into Irak.

When I bought this car, I thought the glove box was broken so I got a replacement from a salvage yard. Turned out the clips that hold the glove box to the shaft it swings on just came unclipped...

Pull the glove box out, play with those clips a while and see how they work. Get real familiar with the feel of snapping them back together, cuz when you do it for real you'll be standing on your head reaching back up under the dash. And there's a trick to snapping it all back together again. Easy to see why they are not always completely snapped in. Yeah, I'm less than impressed by that design.

no, no no, all wrong. that parcel contains the yakety-sax music and benny hill-esque antics for whenever the car detects that its on one of the english M series motorways.
