This is how my car looks like after being driven from Boston to northern NJ in a snow storm.
I left MA at around 1030PM, it hasn't really snowed.
Snow started in CT, where none of the roads were plowed (!!!). CT got between 2-3 inches of snows, which wasn't that bad, but just enought to make driving very diffiult.
The car did good, I was driving on three winter tires and one all-season. I was taking it easy, goin b/w 30-40MPH, occassianlly testing my braking/steering ability.
Saw about six or seven cars in ditches on the side of the road, one car behind me (Lexus GS) span and was tapped by another car from behind.
Seen one serious roll-over, a Nissan Pathfinder, and a serious multi-vechicle accident on the other side of the highway.
Once, in NY, the roads were really clear.

CT officially sucks.

Got water?

Yep that looks familiar...for those of us in the midwestern/northern states anyway.

But, whats with the green lawns?

That is nothing. I A couple years ago I drove from PA to WI before a moderate snow storm, before most of the salt that has been spread had disolved and the bottem half of my car was PURE WHITE.
Then on the drive back I drove all through PA and OH the night of the Presidents day blizzard of '03. Blizzaks have became my best friend after that. The PA turnpike had litterally 8-12 inches of snow covering it.

I'm with Dan H. Got water? All the bimmers I ever had don't like the salt. Hopefully you have already taken it to a car wash with a chassis bath.

I will... it's no biggie, my mechanic said that he'll take care of it, car needs service anyway, so I'll just have him do it, I'm not sweating it, will not be using the car much in the next 2-3 weeks anyway.

The pics were taken this morning, and I'll probably will not be able to touch the car till Wednesday. :(

Green lawns - I guess NJ did not get as much snow as CT. :shrugs:

Oh... okay. This is what I got... http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=1038

I have not run into any bolts or nuts that I cannot take off yet. It grabs the bolt or nut by the middle... not the edge.
