Shell V power gas 93 octane any good?

I am now on my second tank of shell v power gasoline 93 octane on my 95 525i with a EAT chip. Car runs very well. I think gas mileage is about the same as running BP or chevron 93. Chevron 93 has been my favorite because of techron. Both v power and chevron are what is known as "Top Tier" gasoines that meet higher engine cleaning standards.

Just an observation.

i always run the shell 93. had to put in a tank of 'off brand' 93 a few months ago, and my mpg (mixed driving) went from 22 to 18. i found this odd and interesting.
