Holly sh*t I always knew it was possible but didn’t think anyone would be that insane! Just imagine the weight over the front axel! The V8s have a nose-dive issue, why do you think BM stuck with the straight 6 in the M.

Id like to see some shots of the bay though!

Don’t quote me but aprox 275 Kg for the V12 and 210 Kg for the V8 (M60)

The weight of the 4.0 engine is approx the same as the 3.5 so I am not sure of what Nose Diving problem in the v-8 you guys are referring to? I get the same or better MPG than most 3.5 guys do as well - JT

It's because the 540 is slowing down from much greater speeds due to the fantastic acceleration of the V-8....oh yeah, the bigger brakes too... http://www3.sympatico.ca/dnatown/cheesy.gif

i herd somewear that the 12 is only 75 pounds more then the 6, remember the 12 is mostly aluiminum. the v12 swap i wanna see is that black e30 i saw pics a few months ago, that thing was sweet, looked factory save for the blacked out intakes and valve covers

Think this was the one on eBay a few months back. The guy couldn't get rid of it - nobody wanted to meet the reserve. From what I remember of the description, the engine was somewhat tuned...not sure if the 400hp is those guys' conservative estimate or what, but I'd expect more; especially since - you KNOW - this is the work of an enthusiast with alottabux....
