I need to replace the trans (5-spd) and diff (lsd) oils or fluids or whatever they're called.
I went to redline's website and I'm kinda confused as to which ones I need.

Trans:
MTL
MT-90
Synthetic ATF (dexron II)
D4 ATF (dexron III, GL-4)

Diff:
75W90 or 75W140 (prolly the last isn't the right one)

Which do I need?
Is the 75W90 correct for my LSD equipped diff?

BMW calls to use ATF in their 5-spd trans, but redline makes these manual trans fluids, so what do I buy?

Thanks,
-K

I've used redline MTL in my trans, even though BMW calls for ATF. It's nice and smooth and lasts forever in there.

For the diff, I use the 75w90. Nice and quiet back there.

Redline MTL for the 5 speed transmission for sure. I used 75w140 in my diff and then added the Limited Slip Additive from BMW.

My Limited Slip was chattering after using regular 75w90. I know you aren't supposed to have to add the additive with this redline product but I wanted to be doubly sure.

Chattering is gone and is now very quiet.

Both products worked well for me.

Also, for power steering, BMW calls for the use of ATF, what should add/replace that with.

I'm having the steering box replaced, so will need that too.
