How do i wire up rear maplighs?

Hi,
i have some rear light with maplights on, how do i fit them in place of my standard lights?
there are extra wires on the maplight ones where do i connect them?

If you talking about the bmw rear interior lights often found in E32 7 series, they should plug in, almost. BMW went and changed the connectors so you may have splice in a new connector. Otherwise the wires are there.
