2 questions. HELP!!!

hey guys and gals,
on my 89 E34 525i i wanna increase the torque and the sound. yes i know there 2 totally diff fields but what can i say. Any suggestions on the torque increase? and with the sound, i'm installing a 12" sub facing through the ski compartment, however i'm having trouble finding the stock amp/splitter plugs. i'm told there on the opposite side in the boot to the gas hole, but alas i cant find it. help!!! :(

Torque increase=EAT chip
Amp location=should be behind that panel opposite the "gas hole". Might be a little closer to the back of the car, it is on mine.

...remove the panel on the left side of the trunk and it should be mounted to the body there. Good luck.
