Hi again all does anyone know where i will find the fuel pump relay on my e34 1990 3ltr auto i bought the haynes manual but its not very clear on where it is

thanks phil i will give that a try and let you know how i get on i got it running with putting a live to the pump but a problem came up with the auto box i have been told this could be linked to the fuel pump relay

yes that is what has happend it was running great then cut out no power to the pump got a live to it runs great gearbox says that error and seams to be in limp home mode (3rd) i would think the two are linked as they happend at the same time ?????? anything else i could try ?

I'm sorry but I'm no expert on this - I just know that there are a number of different reasons for it happening.

anyone else know if the fuel pump relay is linked with the auto box anywhere on the system ?
