Hi all, everytime i turn the engine off, it mark low engine oil in the display. Can any one help with this! What can i do to correct this problem?

If so, check the oil level sender switch. Check the wiring on that and use a multimeter to check the switch.

I believe all e-34s have a sensor that indicates when you are 1/2 to 1 quart low on oil. Mine has never come on. However, my old e-28 would come on every 500 miles. :( Very worn valve guides!

thats what I'd say, just because if there were a problem with the oil level sensor you'd prolly be seeing the "oil lever sensor" message instead.
