can you dismantle headlights to put angel eye rings in???????

i was just wondering is it possible to tale apart the headlights on a e34 1990 so i can put ccf angel eye rings in????

here is the link from Max Fretter how to disassemble the lights for cleaning. E32 headlights are identical with E34 ones.

its really not worth it though....
if u were to buy some nice euro ellipsoids
from ebay u'd get new lenses (no rock chips)
angel eyes, AND a brighter sharper beam
