My new wheels and tires for the BMW: The "throwing star" wheels were purchased from eBay about a month or so ago and the tires, Toyo Proxie T1-S, were ordered the Saturday before SEMA. They arrived while at SEMA and just had time this past weekend to marry the wheels and the tires.

Due to the fact that I don't want to put the wheels/tires on until the front end is replaced, prolly the first part of next year. I decided to make this tire dolly. The dolly makes it a WHOLE lot easier to move the tire stack around the garage.

Tire Dolly Material List:

3 - 24" diamater MDF (available as is at Home Depot)
4 - 3" Swivel Caster Wheels
16 - 5/16" x 1 1/4" Hex Head Bolts
16 - Washers for 5/16" bolt
16 - Hex nut for 5/16" bolt
5 - 2" Course thread deck screws

Tools:

Drill
5/16" Drill Bit
Jig Saw
1/2" Socket
1/2" Wrench

Took me about a hour and a half or so after I figured out what I wanted to do. The only thing I would have done differently would be to order the casters online. I don;t particularly care for the hard rubber wheels. Something that would "skate" around the garage would have been nice.

Oh well... "Live and Learn"
