Hey Guys,
I was just at Wal-Mart and bought some Mobil 1 oil. Actually I was looking specifically for Mobil 1 Truck & SUV 5W40 oil. Despite that it seems like a hype labeling, it is actaully Delvac 1 synthetic oil designed specifically for diesel engine. (This oil is very very hard to find!)
They sold it for $4.77 a quart... all Mobil 1 oil... 0W20, 0W40, 5W30, 10W30, 15W50 and T&S 5W40.

Anyway, I saw a Rollback sign on their 5 Quarts jug of Mobil 1... 5W30, 10W30 and 15W50 for only $19.88... that is less than $4 a quart... Pretty good price. Thought you guys might be interested in great deals.

Thanks for the heads up - I'm driving by the local WallyWorld on the way to an appointment this afternoon and I'll stop by to stock up.

Curt.

So Wally-World is Wal-Mart... I thought it was an odd name for a store somewhere I haven't been before... ;o)

I never said 0W40. I didn't see any 0W40 jugs. Otherwise, I would have bought out the lot.

some conspiracy but I can only locate them in single quarts. The jug however would be cleared out by myself in the local Wally Marts around here.

Stopped by the local store and the price here was $20.02. That's still fine with me and when a oil change takes 8 quarts, I bought 6 containers.

Well, with 4 cars in the driveway and the 530iT taking 8 quarts per change and the wife's Lexus taking almost 7 quarts, I can go through 30 quarts in a pretty short time.

Curt.

I wish it was that simple - I could save a ton of money with a well placed piece of bubble gum!!!

mobil 1 truck and suv IS NOT DELVAC 1. you can go to bobistheoilguy.com and look at the virgin analysis of both products to see that this is not the case, if you'd like. it is apparently similar enough that its a good deal at walmart's price.

I know what you mean - I bought 25 quarts last weekend, already went through 12 or so. Of course, I bought Pennzoil dino juice for the E250 and the F250, and M1 for the 330 and the Quest. But it's a lot of oil.......
