Coolant replacement

Today I"m going to be changing the coolant in my 540i and I have a quick question. At the moment I dont have new crush washers for the radiator and block drain plugs.. I've read that it's not essential that these get replaced but I'd like to anyway. My question is, are these washers somehow specific to this application? Is it likely that I'll find them at my local pep-boys/autozone? I probably should have actually taken a look at them before posting, so don't hesitate to flame me for a potentially stupid question.. :)

you can reuse them with no problems unless you damage them while out :D

It's also just a metric copper crush washer, so it's entirely possible that you might be able to find one a local hardware or autoparts store.
