1. How much work & trouble is it to replace synchronisers in the 5 speed manual transmission? Cost?

3. What is the normal price range for a good used 5 speed transmission? Sources, such as eBay?

yeah it's a pricey repair, and that's if you know what you're doing. Your best bets for a used one are Ebay, or Vines Automotive. Can someone post the link to vines?
