I just ordered 100w bulbs and would like to wire it through a relay so I don't burn my LKM. Where do you hook up the +12v line? My battery is under the rear seat. Also, would I experience the low beam error message?

Try drawing your power from that + battery hookup in engine compartment.

He only mentioned the HIDs because some people wire them using relays..

he means 100w halogens. Honestly you could wire them with relays and all, but the problem remains that the 100w bulbs will melt your housings.

I got Euro Ellipsoids! I heard you can't melt those because they are metal.

You can melt just about anything with 100w bulbs. The bulb holders... the wiring... you name it.

no you won't get an error message, and there is a 12v+ terminal at the fuse box under the hood, but why would you want 100watt bulbs? which type of bulb are they?

I just ordered 100w H1 bulbs from BMA. They were only $6 a piece but they charged me for only one for some reason. They were out of stock for Hella/Osram so they just shipped John. I never heard of it before but doesn't hurt to try-made in Germany. The standard 55w bulbs are too dim and an HID kit costs a lot of money. Where is the +12v terminal you are talking about, is it the same + battery terminal that Tiger was speaking of?
