OT: what grade motor oil does the MT take on a pre 94 accord?

its not the one with the pop up headlamps, but not the post 94 model. girl at work was going to put "manual transmission " oil in there.....i didn't know any better either. i guess you learn something new every day.

motor oil?? thats a far cry from manual fluid.

try poly unsaturated peanut oil :)

maybe even mobil1 0w-40?

apparently the differential in a 3 speed automatic transmission on a toyota corolla takes 10w30 oil, so stranger things have happened. ;)

oil and it takes just about 2 quarts.
