I've got Mintex pads on my 850 calipers, and I'm looking to change them and the rotors in a few weeks... Just wanted to know what pads were available for these calipers, and how you liked them. I haven't been able to get much info through Brakewarehouse.

Thanks,
AllanS

Hawk HPS. They are pretty great. The dust is nowhere near as bad as those Mintex pads. I like 'em. Had them on the Bremerton track last weekend for novice day; they were good.

Another Hawk HPS user here. Great pads for street driving and occasional track use.

I have them at all four corners, and love 'em. They're the best street pads I've ever tried. They're less dusty and they wear better than Mintex. They're quieter than PBR Deluxe. And they grip better than either Mintex or PBR.

I also have Hawk HP+ for track use, which are waaaaay different from the HPS. HP+ produce a LOT of dust -- maybe even more than stock pads, and they're loud as hell (think dumptruck loud.) They grip great at the track, though.

Oh yeah, what would I be buying them for, I have the single piston calipers... should it be for the 840/850ci or the 850i/850csi?
