I just purchased a 1990 535i and on the cluster there is a Dip beam failure
showing. I have checked all the front lights and all of them are working fine.
But when I looked at the Headlamp bulbs I noticed that they are aftermarket.
Could it be posible that the resistance of the bulbs may be causing the failure message to show? Please help!!!
With the failure measage showing I can't access any of the other features that the display offers.
