Instrument cluster

Gentlemen...Do I have to pull off the steering wheel to change some bulbs in the instrument cluster, or do I just slide out the unit after loosining some phillips screws at the top?.....Is there an on-line source for the bulbs in the cluster, there is apparently a couple different wattages. Cheers....
