Anybody have a CD Changer in a 1992 525i that is hooked directly to the factory wiring harness - and if so - what flucking model changer is it? So far, the BMW CDX-M90 does NOT attach. The Pioneer CDX-M30 does NOT attach. Which flucking model DOES attach!

that's a m91, what they came with, i own 3 of the 5 pioneer changers that will work with a bmw and i like the m30 the best, all you need is the adaptor and it will work fine, the m91 has a weak easy to break door/face plate and is slightly more prone to skip over our war torn streets

Get the BMW/PIO Interface Cable I told you that you would probably need and you'll be good to go -it's the only way you're going to be able to make it work. You can order it from one of the links below, find it on eBay like someone else posted for cheaper, or find one locally for about the same as mailorder.
Email me if you need help on any of it.

This is the cable I need, but $40 + $11 shipping seems a little steep. The ones on eBay have rounded connecters at each end. Anyone have a BMWPIO/M they want to sell? Also, the power connection does not fit - is this something I must modify or does the BMWPIO/M cable convert the power connecter too? Thanks for all the help.

mod the power cable it's easy, hot=orange on one side and ground=black on the other and don't worry about the center

You can also buy a power cable if you don't want to make one.
