520I no power

Hi I have BMW 520i 1989, when i am driving my car i feel that my car is very heavy and it's not runing fast even i push full clutch .if i put on AC then more heavy. I told my Mechanic he told me that may be fuel pump not working proper or exhauste is blocked
please could any body help me on this matter. thanks
