View Full Version : where to find 0w40 or 5w40?

hey guys, i'm trying to find some mobil 1 synthetic but i can't find this stuff. am i just not looking in the right places? where do you go to get yours? thanks!

I've seen it at both Auto Zone and Advance Auto in my area.

Unfortunatey, the only place I have found 0W-40 is Walmart.

I get it AutoZone. They usually don't have enough on hand to change the oil in both cars, since our cars take 8.5 and 7.5 quarts respectively. If your AZ is like mine, you might want to stock up.

canada/other places will likely be harder to find it.

thanks for the replies guys. i'm in maryland. the walmart i went to had none. az is not so close, but looks like i'll be goin out there soon.

also, i want to use 0w40 or 5w40 but my costco as 5w30 and 10w30 for a good price. when could/should i use 5w30 or 10w30? thanks for the advice!

5w30 is a good choice if you cant get the 0wt. 5w 30 is good year round as a matter of fact thats what we used to use at the track with high HP engines with no oil related problems whatsoever.

found some 0w40 at advance auto parts. a case of 6 qts was about $28. does that sound about right? thanks guys!

not bad, about 50¢ high but you got the latest craze in high performance oil. Dude, note that it says for "european cars" woohoo!
