Coolant level warning

everitime i ride my car 89 525i the coolant level warning pops up when i shut the car, but when i check the coolant its fine, its at the correct level. What could be the problem.

It is a faulty coolant level sensor. Change it.

Is the plug properly attached to the sensor??

yea i will try to clean it if it doesnt change i will get a new one.
