A few of us have been watching this glass sunroof kit on ebay.canada. Some jackoff posted the link on roadfly a day after my initial bid.

It is at $530US, and there are 4+ hours to go.

If I start bidding at the last minute, you'll know I've hit the Jim Beam, thinking about it.

Heard you can't buy this anymore from anywhere. Is this true? No dealer/aftermarket companies are offering this? I'm sure 80% of us would go for it at a reasonable cost. Someone could make money! Who dosen't want a glass moonroof?

I can close mine to keep the sun off my big head, hard to do with glass.

In Arizona, I have to say Nicht! If i want light from above, I just open the steel roof.

my head all the time, even with tinted glass. I really never could understand the reason people like the glass "moon" roofs - Do you like looking at the sky with the a/c on or when it is raining?

It includes a sliding sunshade. And yes, it's NLA. Martin and I think the "kit" was made by Wabasto for BMW and sold as a BMW part thru the dealers.

This one was special as it was a whole kit - new and complete.

Down south I can understand how it wouldn't be so great...but as mentioned, that's why there is a sunshade for midday when you don't want to be toasted. Up in NY area moonroofs are more in demand. It allows an open, bright, airy feel to the cabin. Especially nice in the winter. And yes I like to see the sky with the A/C on or when it rains, just like with the skylights in my house.

By jackoff, do you mean 'deadheadva' that took it from $150 to $500 in several small increments, uncontested by other bidders, in a matter of hours?

Yes, that guy is a jackoff! Ebay ought to be able to do something about it. He is probably the brother of the seller. I'm sure the seller is loving it, though .
