Folks, I find myself at an unfortunate impass; the fiancee and I are "gittin' hitched" in about a month, and my attempts of 'financial wizardry' to keep a mortgage, two daily drivers, and a bimmer for myself aren't cutting it. This is especially unnerving amidst talk of IT outsourcing at my company: sadly, my 5'er must find a new home.

For those of you looking to upgrade, I think you'll find this to be an extremely clean example. Here's the dilly:

Specs:
-1991 (prod date 9/90) 535iM Islund Grun metallic w/ beige leather (paint: 8/10, interior: 9+/10)
-3.4L (M30) motor with E.A.T. chip (6800 RPM rev-limit version)
-5-speed w/ UUC short-shift kit and ///M shift knob (no, I didn't buy the knob--honest)
-123k miles
-Limited-slip differential
-E34 M5 Throwing Star wheels "sans covers".
-Sumitomo HTR+ tires size 235/45-ZR17 (new Oct 2003--approx 75% tread left).
-OEM BMW (Pioneer) AM/FM/WB/cass/CD audio system with Sony 10-disc changer (head unit, amp and speakers were replaced by PO).
-Ice-cold R-134a retrofitted A/C (professionally done by Otto's BMW - West Chester, PA).
-Milled 750iL front bushings.
-near-complete tool kit.
-new E34 basketweave and spare tire.

Recent work:
(May 2003)
new fuel pump
new rear muffler
new distributor cap/rotor
new TPS

(Nov 2003)
new Balo rotors/Pagid pads

(Mar 2004)
(2) new front strut/hub assemblies
new shift selector seal
new brake resevoir and seals
new diff side seal
new output flange seal
transmission shift selector seal
(2) new front tie rods

(May 2004)
new water pump/hoses/belts
new ICV

(Aug 2004)
new battery
replacement (used) aux fan
new A/C pressure switch

(Sept 2004)
new foglights
new rear Bilstein HD's (have not installed yet)

What it needs:
heated seats no workie (but not a big fan of them, so I never tried fixing them--could be simple, or not-so-simple)

Asking price is $7600 or best offer.

Reminds me of Scotty H. His fiance will have him trading the 535 for a minivan in no time. Weak.

If anything goes, it will be her expensive 2003 330Ci. In fact, I just called a couple of guys today about cheap 535s that I can use to replace the body of my car in a couple years when it gets the the point that the rust completely disgusts me!

...within someone else' "For Sale" post kind of like going to an expensive restaurant and discussing "rats"?

Thanks a lot guys--I'm bound to get a lot of bites on my car now!

Honest, just bustin' your chops ;-)
