I just got my car back from the body shop where I had some major TLC prefromed. Looks like a brand new car (at least on the outside). Anyway, the shop ordered some exhaust tips from BMW based on this part number 82119401506 but when they got them the opening on the tip was the same diameter as the existing exhaust tip.
Any suggestions? Should I look elsewhere for exhaust tips?

Thanks,

Michael

Is the number you mention a supercession to this? Not sure where the number you mention is used, as I don't have the full ETK at work (got the above snippet off the 'net).

That one might work. That one shows up as the part for a 1989-? E34 with the M20 engine. I guess I'll haev to drive out to Lieth BMW and see what they have available.

Thanks,

Michael

I had to cut off the ends of my stock pipes, to weld on the tips, looks great

I think I saw the posting of that on the E34.net site and it did look great. I didn't want to go down that road if I couldn't help it. Is there another way?
