Hi all,
Can someone tell me if the fuel pump (inside the fuel tank) should run when the contact key is set to the second position? My car has problems starting and I identified that there is no diesel gettting to the filter. I checked the feed pump relay and fuse and they are OK but the relay does not get activated until the car is one, should it be this way or should the pump start running when the key is turn to the second position while the engine is being pre heated? If this is the case could someone help me finding out which other relay should I look into to identify why the feed pump relay is not being activated until the car is on.
