Ker Lunk

Have had a clunk from the front left,but it is getting louder and more freqent.This morning i could hear and or sense a light clunk as I applied and released the brakes.....sway bar links?????The kerlunk seems to be activted only by sharp bumps not undulations.

Go after the collar nut at the top of the strut housing with a Big Eff-ing pipe wrench. This seems to happen from time to time soon after suspension work was done. Unless you've got really short springs, you should be able to do it while everything is on the car (except the wheel).
