I have a pair of M3 Style mirrors, painted black (Schwarz). Good condition and only on the car for a short time. There are a couple small bubbles on the left base of one mirror probably caused by not having a good sanding and cleaning prior to painting. Base and mirrors are plastic like the ones sold on eBay all the time. Electric. Not heated. Connectors and attachment bolt provided. EZ install.
