Engine hesitates when the A/C is on....

it also delivers much less power when i turn on the A/C.....is there any sensor or switch that sends a signal to the DME when the A/C is on ?......appreciate your help guys.

Mine's the same, I suspect its just a big load to put on the engine, although depending upon how severe your power loss is, your compressor maybe isn't in the best of health
