530i E34/M60 : Rotten Door Sill Edge

My car is a '96 (95 model) 530i/E34 with V8 M60 engine.

The door sill edge is made of cheap plastic, and as its aged, becomes rotten :( (see image01a -- rotten one -- and image03a -- still intact --).

Is there any place other than the st(d)ealers I can find just the rotten edge (not the whole door sills) to make it look better ? Or somebody has some idea to create a replacement for that ?

did you give BMA a call? Im sure they have or can get this much less than the stealers.
