Worn leather

I've got a '95 540i and its got sport seats. There is a spot on the drivers side seat where the leather has worn through...I believe it's called the bolster; the part of the seat that makes contact with each side of your lower back, right? I can see the fizzy white stuff under the worn leather, the area is probably about an inch long. I suspect this is a pretty common area see wear, anyone have any experience getting this sort of thing fixed?

I'll post a picture of it when I get home this afternoon...
