Two questions:

Do they have a significant effect on lumen output?

Do you have enough for another 95 530i?

Thanks

No negative effect on output at all, they're a perfectly transparent film.

From their website, "StonGard has UV screens built in to protect itself from damaging ultra-violet light"... basically, resists yellowing, stays clear.

Did I mention... it's pretty tough??

I still have a couple more kits... PM me for payment info.

I posted that link before... as a fellow member of the BMW CCP has a set which he lent me for a dealer car show I entered:

photos.yahoo.com/jplacson

You can see a pic of the covers on my car there. They are sold by a company in NZ, called airplex (airplex.co.nz)

They actually look better in real life... they give an "E39" look to E34s. Although I did notice that they gather more dust and dirt during rainy weather.

I'm still undecided on whether to buy a set for myself or not... you guys decide for yourselves... check out the photos.

if anyone else is interested, i'll throw my (bad) name down for a group buy, cash in hand to do so, especially if the unit only costs $50 ish USD. i really want some of these.

it's US$51 for clear ones... and US$76.50 for colored (I think they come in black)

it's the shipping that's a bitch since it costs the same to ship 1 or 5 pairs!!!! And shipping costs WAY more than one pair!!!!
