your opinion of Breyton Vision wheels on black e34?

feedback from anyone having a set? hope they are not easily bent.

Breyton's are usually heavy, but I think they'd look great on your car. I've seen plenty of visions on e46s M3s with no complaints of weight or bent rims.

You should get 'em.

Mike,
I know you know a lot about wheels and gaging by your many previous posts, like Drew...have a penchant for changing your shoes once in a while :-) My advice is...there is nothing particularly special about the wheels you are considering...either cosmetically or functionally. You would be just as well served to maintain your M//'s replete with their tendency to bend and their weight common to cast, aftermarket wheels. You would be better served if making the switch to find some real nice high end wheels if going aftermarket...some cool jewlery out there...get something 2 or 3 piece if you want a distinctive look. Or conversely...go with something forged a bit more conservative from the factory for a true functional (weight and strength) improvement...hard to go wrong with factory M5 Throwing Stars for example...staggered is my preference :-) Learned just the other day...that the coveted BBS 17" No.5 2-piece Cross-spokes that members of this board have such as Jr, Robert, Gordon...long list...are available in "hubcentric" size that will bolt to our cars without spacers. Most as you know find take off's from the larger hubbed E-39.
If you are going to make a transistion...take a worthwhile step...get into something a real cut above the nice distinctive wheels you already have.

i have been contemplating these.. they look great mounted on other bmws but i have not yet seen them on an e34

I prefer spending money on different wheels, rather than throwing it away straightening them...

Agree that Visions have too many compromises and would probably be a stop gap. Same goes for the style 69 wheels.

The ugly OEM turbines are ok. Never felt the urge to swap T-stars covers. but run the wheels naked sometimes. Plan is to dedicate track tires on them.

Even though I have low dust brake pads, I prefer easy to clean, open design wheels. the m-parallels openings are large enough for my hand and sponge to fit through to clean the back of the wheel.

already have the good looking cross spoke design on a 7 series.

So where am I? I have experimented with various offsets and widths of m-parallels in an attempt to fit 265/35x18s all around.... but this is another long story.
