NE1 have advice on front wheel bearing replacement?

I finally got the dreaded 'Brake Lining' message yesterday and since I'll be in that far I thought I might replace the front wheel bearings. Does anyone have any advice (besides what is in the Bentley's and on Bruno's site) on ease, difficulty, tools or tips?
