Inspection Light....

So the inspection light came on yesterday....i dunno if if its because I went mountain driving or not...but I doubt it...I think it really is due for inspection because when i started it 2 days ago there was only 1 green light. Inspections cost like $700 dollars here....and I really don't want to pay that much money for someone to tell me my car is fine. Do you guys recommend that I just reset the light and change the oil and thats it. Or should I actually take it in for inspection?

Well, you might want to actually do the inspection yourself, like you said change oil and filter plus change air filter, fuel filter, why not change the brake fluid while you are at it. You can jack the car up and check the brakes, good chance to clean the back of the wheels, lube the pins which hold the pads, stuff like that. It wil take you most of the day but will give you a better feeling than just resetting the light IMHO,
