As you can see, I have 1992 535i. From what I understand, this is the first year for VANOs, but does that mean that my car has it? How does one find out? Rookie question, I know....but if you have any questions on MOPAR, let me know!

No VANOS on the M30 engine. 1992 may be the first year for VANOS on the M50 (525) engine.

I have a 1971 Plymouth Satellite Sebring 2 door hard top with 72,000 miles on it. Bought new by my grandmother and always in the family. Nice cruiser but don't want to spend the $$$ to upgrade engine on a car that I only drive a few hundred miles a year.

1993 was the first year for US m50 vanos. i dunno if the 92 euro had it, as the 90 euro had the m50 in it.

Plymouth Satellite? Great car! Forced induction is the way to go to make it faster without spending too much money...the motor and tranny can take it....

It's in pieces, it will be at least a year before it's up and running! $12,000 for the engine, sitting in a crate waiting for me to get the cash to get a new tranny and put it together.
