Hi everyone,

I was sitting waiting for a stoplight and my OBC cluster display flashed the message >limit< and sounded the usual chime. It only did it once and disappeared quickly. What does this mean?

Thanks,
Mark

Mark, the LIMIT is an audio warning that chimes when you drive faster than an input speed, and the limit function on the OBC has been activated. It is not a way to limit the vehicle speed through the DME. Push the LIMIT button on the OBC to show what it is set at...you can push the 1,10,100's buttons then S/R to tell the OBC what you would like as the warning value. Then you push the limit button again and the small red LED beside the LIMIT button should then light up, indicating that the car will now chime when you exceed the set value. To disable the limit chime, simply push the limit button on the OBC until the associated red LED goes out.

Cheers,
