e60 A/C clutch bearing went out and I made the mistake of replacing it with a low quality Chinese made bearing because it was the only replacement I could find.

Not surprisingly 3 months in, it started making noise.
I searched high and low for a German or Japanese bearing of this size. Had to settle on an FKG UK Air Conditioning Compressor Clutch Bearing 35mm x 52mm x 12mm (ahem, also made in China.)

Hopeful that this one will fare better than the Santech.
Any advice is welcome.
BTW the E34 "Ol' Red" with the rebuilt engine is at 250,000 miles and counting. Our E60 550i is at 205,000 miles and counting.

there I found the rare bearings for my M70 EML throttle valve flap, originally INA F-95775 needle bearing, there I found fitting HK0810-RS, HK0810-2RS

Thank you very much Shogun. Coincidentally, I went to that website earlier but couldn't determine where the bearing was manufactured. They list a Nachi bearing and a web search shows they are a multi-national corporation with facilities all over the world. Their NachiAmerica site says nothing about where the bearings are manufactured. The Nachi-Fujikoshi website looks like their headquarters. Interestingly their site in Japanese is much more robust than the English version. Maybe it's a cultural difference, I do not know.

Many thanks Shogun, I think I'm going to take a leap of faith that the bearing is manufactured in Japan to much higher tolerances and of better raw materials than the lower priced Chinese products I've purchased out of necessity and certainly not out of choice.

Bearing sourced from 123Bearing and shipped to Californistan from France. Genuine Fujikoshi bearing, clearly labeled that it's manufactured in Japan. Not that you can't fine a good bearing made in China, just that I have not.

The old saying applies.
99% of Chinese bearing manufacturers give the rest of us a bad name.
