Some of my favorite terms sellers use advertising their cars these days:
- Lady driver (destroyed by a female, or driven by a male hooligan with the car in his partners/mum's name)
- Selling for a friend (stolen/doesn't belong to vendor)
- Never had any problems (everything now needs to be replaced)
- Not looking to sell urgently / 'EOI' (overpriced and too important for anyone else to own)
- x, y and z damage by the previous owner (but the current owner is so self important they won't tell you the hidden damage they caused)

And just for a moment of legal brushing up : if someone consents to you visiting them despite issuance of an order of protection, police could still arrest you, should they find out this was done, because this is a breach of a court order.
