Since months I was chasing a rattle on the rear and could not find it. Checked the usual things like exhaust brackets, bumper, changed dogbones, removed parcel shelf and added sound absorbing material, checked shock mounts, beer cans and so on.
Today we found it. On the left side rear brake one of the brake pads was lose. On the back of the brake pad is a metal clip and it has to be pushed into this position in the caliper

which should hold the inner pad always tight in that position.
But that clip was too lose, after removing the rear wheel one could easily move the pad. Re-bent the clip, put the brake pad into correct position and no more noise.
Of course, the whole procedure of pad changing needs to be done to get to the brake pad

Sometimes they are bent too far to fit in the hole, so you have to bend them in to fit, which sometimes can be too loose. Replacing pads on these cars sometimes frustrates me.
