I have Falken ZIEX ZE912, decent tire with good reviews. Looks to be anywhere from 80.00-100.00+ each.

I've been running kumho's on my e34, e46,rav4 and now on my f150, comparable to a bargain basement michelin pilot on my e34... read the reviews on tirerack.com

Edit: no snow where i live and not much raing although they were fine in the flooding we had a month or so ago

The Nexen on my E32 I will replace this month against NANKANG XR611 225/60R15 96V, a online shop here in Japan is selling them for abt $50 / piece at the moment. Also available in the US for less than $60.
I have also Nankang on my E36 M3 since summer, replaced the old Pirelli which were much more expensive.

ecsta lx platinum on the e34, they had a 80 dollar rebate also so they ended up being something like 76.00 each. Every few months kumho has a mail in rebate

Nice to see the Real Crew is still around...thanks everyone.
I had a hard time finiding a choice in So. Calif so it was between the Nexen and Ohtsu FP7000 (Falken Brand)

I went with the Othsu for $270
I will let you know

P.S Talked with Gayle on Saturday all is well and her Life is totally changed...she is being Mature..I told that being mature doesn't sound like much Fun

I use Kumhos too. Great in the dry, not bad but certainly not a Michelin in the rain. I know, as I have 2 E34s one has new Pilot Sport 3s on one and Kumhos (here in Oz they are 'ECSTA Sport SPT' 225x50x16) on the other.

You can buy 55 series if you want comfort, but they are ever so slightly larger and may just touch a front guard at compression as it does on mine. Not dangerously, but IMHO it'd be best to plan rolling the front guards if you get 55s!

I bought ZIEX 225s for my e28 once. Found them terrible in comparison to the Dunlop Sports (SP2000 and SP3000; SP2000 are factory e36 M3 fit). I reckon the Kumhos are as good as those, but the SP2000 would definitely beat them in the rain.

Note: 50s have a slightly smaller rolling diameter than stock 15s with 225x60 15s. 55s are slightly larger. If you're car is lowered, fitting 50s will really 'lock it down and put it on rails', hint: If you add fat swaybars you'll really need taller seat bolsters as you won't slip to the sides. The cornering G-forces will be doubled!
