just bought a set of brembo standard front rotors from Brisbane brake depot (Aussie), $79. they also have many other sets at very reasonable prices and I was curious as to the suitability of other models stated. although the listings mention models such as 530i E34,535i E34, M5 E34 3.5i 24V (1988 - 1996), it didn't mention 540i. I thought that the same rear rotor set would fit the 540i, am I incorrect? the site also mentioned 840/ 850 as well. im keen to pick up a set as they are only $69 so any feedback would be great. thanx in advance, mattyB.

Do you have any BMW part # ? If so, do a cross reference check on RealOEM.com Online BMW Parts Catalog (http://www.realoem.com)
with the search by part number and all BMW will be shown with the same part #

The 540 has bigger rotors than the 530 and 535 but smaller than the m5. The 540 has 302mm x 28mm front rotors and 300 mm x 20mm rear rotors.

I get RDA brand rotors and resma brand pads from a supplier in Sydney. I never bought rotors from overseas.
