I never realised that the last digits in the ZF trans model codes related to the rated input torque when used with a normal gasoline engine, Eg

abcd
5HP30EH

a. 5: No of gears
b. HP: ?
c. 30 300Nm*
d. EH Electronically controlled Hydraulics

* c will be higher for Diesel engines

So a 5HP18 is only rated at 180Nm whereas a 4HP22 is rated at 220Nm... and the new 8HP90 is rated at 900Nm (!@#$%^&*)!!!
