i have recently put 18" wheels on my 1990 518i i have been told that i now should lower the car plz advise

I have been told that the ride is much rougher with larger wheels. Is the handling better/different?

Did you change the struts or does it still have newer/old struts. I assume you have not changed the springs.

Just wondering how the changes affect the car.

buy a sach kit as listed on bmwe34.net at the bottom from bma

i set mine up last week.. it sits nice and tight above the tire.. perfect with some rims. and good price

atleast 1 inch higher then the tallest curb/speed bump you drive over, i've seen too many cars that this fact has been ignored, worked on a 91 535 that was "in da weeds" and everything on the bottom of the car was smashed flat or ground off
